Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should:

  • Be 300–400 words
  • Clearly describe the technical content and practical relevance
  • Avoid purely promotional material
  • Highlight real-world implementation, lessons learned or measurable outcomes

The Technical Program Chair and Steering Committee will review submissions based on technical merit, relevance and industry value.

Submission Format

While APS encourages written papers for inclusion in the official proceedings, we recognise that time constraints sometimes prevent a full paper submission. We therefore accept:

  • Full paper submissions (preferred) — accepted papers will be included in the APS proceedings and are eligible for the Best Paper Award.
  • Presentation-only submissions — suitable for authors who cannot provide a full paper but still wish to present.

Best Paper Award
To encourage high-quality written contributions, APS 2026 will present a Best Paper Award to the most outstanding written submission. Details on award criteria and judging will be published shortly.

Presentation Format

  • 20–25 minute technical presentation
  • Followed by Q&A discussion
  • Presentation slides required prior to event
  • Papers will be included in APS proceedings
