Venue: Melbourne Park Function Centre

The Australian Protection Symposium will be held at the Melbourne Park Function Centre – Yarra Room on the 16th and 17th of August 2016.
The Melbourne Parks Function Centre is located in the heart of Melbourne and the sports and entertainment precinct.
Ideally situated for access by public transport, the main entrance is via Olympic Blvd, only a short walk from Flinders Street Station via the William Barak footbridge.

Public transport
Public transport is the quickest and easiest way to get to and from an event at Melbourne & Olympic Parks. Trains, trams and buses operate frequently, dropping you right at the door of Australia’s premier sports and entertainment precinct. On site public car parking is very limited. To avoid disappointment, we recommend the use of public transport.

Richmond Train Station is walking distance of the Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct. The addition of the Champions Walk and William Barak Bridge from Birrarung Marr makes a short pleasurable walk from the City, Federation Square and along the Yarra.

For more information about getting there including timetables, fares and maps contact 1800 800 007 or visit Public Transport Victoria. For a full range of online and mobile tools available to help you access public transport information, go to Public Transport Victoria.

There is very limited event parking throughout the Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct. Parking can be pre-booked via the centre website.

Around the Botanical Gardens and along the Yarra River and on Alexandra Avenue metered parking is also available.
