The Australian Protection Symposium (APS) is an event dedicated to the presentation of new developments, practical application of methods and technologies and experiences gained in the field of protection, automation and control for modern electrical power generation, transmission and distribution systems.
The APS is the ideal forum for discussions and exchange of information and experiences, bringing together utilities, energy companies, manufactures, consultants, service providers, standard committees, universities and research centres.
In 2020, more than 500 protection industry leaders and professionals gathered virtually to share their industry insights. Now in its 13th year and back in person, the Australian Protection symposium will again bring together researchers, experts, engineers, practitioners and professionals involved and interested in the electrical protection industry – who are facing similar challenges – allowing them to discuss their views face to face and build close cooperation channels for solving future challenges.
In 2022, the event will be held over two days at the Novotel Melbourne on Collins on 6th – 7th of September.
